I post on behalf of Alan Bogg:
We are delighted to announce the launch of a new book series.
Bristol Studies in Law and Social Justice explores the role of law in securing social justice in society and the economy. The focus is on ‘social justice’ as a normative ideal, and the law as a
critical tool in influencing (for good or for ill) the social structures that shape people’s lives. This international series is designed to be inclusive of a wide range of methodologies and disciplinary approaches. It also has a broad jurisdictional coverage,
including single-country and comparative studies, as well as studies in international law. We are very keen to include titles engaging with the role of private law in social justice, and our international advisory board includes some leading private law scholars
such as Professor Hugh Collins (LSE) and Professor Martijn Hesselink (EUI). Further details of the series can be found here:

The editors welcome proposals for monographs of 60,000-80,000 words as well as proposals for edited collections. If you would like to submit a proposal, or to discuss ideas, please contact
